PORCELAIN BRIDGES
Bridges are one way of replacing a missing tooth, or teeth, and, unlike
dentures, are fixed in place using adjacent healthy teeth for support. The
chosen supporting teeth (usually two but sometimes just one in cantilever
bridges) are prepared to take the bridge and an impression is taken of them
using a moldable material which is sent to the technician. On a second
appointment, the bridge is 'glued' into place.
